Artist's Comments

Olga and Tatiana Nicolaievna.

I'm fairly happy with the way this turned out, though Olga doesn't look quite right. More adjustments are needed, I think, so I'll classify this as a WIP.

Thank you, I was a little worried about this one-my monitor tends to run a bit dark compared to most other ones. Nice to know it looks all right. :)

I counted four times, actually. :) Thanks for every one of them.

Your colorizations are really lovely, as well, particularly the one of Lily Elsie.

Yeah, Photoshop' tricky, but it's neat to get a better idea of what the Romanovs (and other famous people only photographed in black and white) might have been like in person.

I love that quote from Nicholas in your signature, I might add. Whatever his faults as a national leader, he was a good man-they were all good people. The thing everyone-even those who don't know much about them-seems to remember is that they didn't deserve their fate. (No one earns that horror.) Also, the fact that Anastasia and Alexei were missing for so long adds a kind of romanticism to the whole thing. (Is it horrible that I find it just a little sad that that aspect of the story is now gone?)

thanks, he was a sweet man for the opressor people say he was. lives are wasted when people don't try to understand their fellow men. if the world did that then things may have turned out for the better.

oh, that's what i thought, haha. i have to admit it was fun with the mysteries and speculation, even if the anastasia-marie question isn't quite solved yet.
